As a photographic artist, I strive to capture the art of Mother Nature – her wild flowers and weeds, and the birds and the bees – and the wonderful, colourful world that exists in disorganized chaos when Mother Nature gets to be the Head Gardener.
This is not intended to be a scientific database of all the weeds and wildflowers - it’s just the camera artist in me attempting to portray the art of the ultimate artist, Mother Nature. If you find mistakes in my identification of them, please let me know so I can correct them. I am not an expert.
I didn’t have to go far to get these pictures – every one of them was either just outside my door in the orchard or within an easy 10 minute drive from my house. Most of them I spotted along the roadside, in ditches and in fields or in the skies above my head.
This current edition is a redesign of my old website (Weeds and Wildflowers.info) – it was time for a change. The old site, with its tens of thousands of images and many hundreds of files, has become too large and difficult to update easily. I am still moving files and photos over (and fixing grave errors), so they are rather incomplete at the moment. Some links will still redirect to my old site. Please bear with me and check back often.
Thanks for stopping by!
